I apologize for the first 3 pictures the lighting was all wrong I was just learning how to use my EZcube.

You can get this doll kit from Lucie Winsky. Her website is: http://luciewinskydolls.com/ and her email is Lucie Winsky.

I don't recall the mold for the gloved arms but I'm sure Lucie can help you.

BOOTS

For each boot, take half the Sculpey Clay and roll a two about 1/16th inch thick..

Center the clay piece on the edge of the leg and mold to the leg and foot, smoothing from front to back. Since these legs have shoes, it is important to blend the clay seamlessly.

Press together tightly at center back of leg to form a seam; trim with X-Acto knife and smooth seam with toothpick.

Repeat for second leg.

Place the legs on your tile and bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 250 degrees.

Let cool, then paint with Brown acrylic paint.

ASSEMBLY

I use 2 pipecleaners and twist them and then bend in half.

Put Tacky glue in torso with syringe, add a drop of Super Glue and insert folded top of pipecleaner into torso; let dry.

Test fit by inserting each extending side of pipecleaners into legs; trim if necessary.

My doll is 5 1/2 in. tall.

I wrap the legs with Self-Adhering Wrap 3M. You can wrap with gauze or whatever method you prefer.

I use Dana's method with the doll stand.

Using wire cutters, cut off the curved edges. Invert the V-shape and insert back into stand, adding a drop of cement glue or crazy glue to hold.

If you want you can spray paint your doll stand black or just leave it white.

We need to test fit here. Bend stand forward at slight angle and insert the upright piece underneath her torso. Adjust so that the doll's feet touch the stand. Add cement glue to hold.

Using the Wrap I shape the dolls body. I added extra padding in the back.

Slip & Skirt

Using black cotton fabric I made a slim slip by forming a tube around the doll. Glue it below waist to avoid bulk. It measured aproximately 5 " x 2"

Remember that each doll's measurements are different, so use paper towel pattern first to trial fit.

I used glue to form the tube around the doll.

You do not have to worry about the hem because you will glue black lace around the hem. This will give the hem a clean look.

Using Alova Suede cut a rectangle 3" x 3" and form a tube using the same method as the slip. The skirt goes right on the waist and should be a bit longer than the hem of the slip.

Notice how I use glue, I rarely sew.

The nice thing about this fabric is that it does not fray so you do not have to sew or glue a hem.

I want the skirt to have a slit on the side so notice how I don't glue all the way to the bottom of the hem.

Here you can see the slit.

Bodice

I took a piece of lace and glued it to the front of her chest.

No back is necessary since it will be covered and you want to avoid bulk.
