I used black silk dupioni. (Buy Now!)

Notice the beading and trimmings used on the sleeves, bodice and hips. I used the ribbon below.

I applied Mod Podge to both sides of ribbon. I then trimmed the flower carefully. I added it to the front of the dress and used the edge of the trimming for the sleeves and waist.
