Katie: Wall Street Broker

I used cotton mini checks fabric (white/black) and for the collar, cuffs & pockets I used Micro Suede.

For the buttons I used the Metallic Finish notions buttons. I painted them black with acrylic paint.

Years ago I had a similar suit for work. When I found this fabric last year I just knew I had to recreate my suit. I started working on this doll last year but waited to show her because I wanted to add a purse and briefcase. I could not find a pattern for the briefcase so I finally decided to make my own.

The pattern for this suit was created by trial and error using paper towel until I got the exact shape and style I wanted.

I used Lace #6 as a faux top. For the brooch I used gold seed beads and half pearl.

She is holding a briefcase. Inside are her newspaper, file folders and a yellow pad.

The briefcase was made using leather from an old glove. The buckle is one of my silver Metallic Finish notions. If you are interested in a similar briefcase, I can make one for you. Click here for more details.

I use real leather that is soft and perfect for miniatures. I can make the briefcase in black or brown.  The cost is $12.00.

I'm so sorry this is not a very good picture of the purse. I made it with a wonderful thin leather which was so easy to work with. It's my own design and it is not included with the patterns & fabric kit.

If interested I can make you one. The cost is $10.00 Just email me.
